Overland Road

Overland Road is a renovation of a detached, characterful and charming family home situated in the heart of Mumbles. This sensitive and considered brief saw us working with our clients, local Architect J A Rewbridge and the talented Interior Designers, No.8 Project. Our aim was to introduce a newly formed entrance way, accompanied by an internal reconfiguration to create a new arrival sequence, to aptly set the tone for the remainder of the residence.

Whilst working on this structure, we renewed the roof coverings and carried out detailed structural works to the cantilevered, western elevation of the property. In doing so, the clients also wanted to make the most out of this opportunity and the glazing on the kitchen elevation was altered in order to maximise the amount of sunlight into this space.

The surrounding gardens were also re-planned in order to better connect with the home, to create a sociable and enjoyable space for entertaining friends and family. Whilst the externals were being addressed the property was also decorated both internally and externally, to ensure a consistent palette was used throughout.
