Murton Lane

The generous proportions of the original 1980’s house provided the bones for a renovation that has transformed it into a striking contemporary family home.

The Murton Lane brief was clear and saw us take what was a Mediterranean style dwelling with curved window profiles, whitewashed walls and Romanesque architectural pillars and introduce a strong, modern contemporary look made up of imaginative, vertically fixed cedar cladding, a sharp yet natural colour scheme, an extensive aluminium glazing package and a balcony area to the rear.

Careful consideration was given to the high-end flooring products, bespoke joinery items, open plan living spaces and neutral, calm, colour scheme.
