Llethryd Farm - Barn Conversion
Llethryd Farm is a fully sustainable, eco-build project where we restored and refurbished a traditional Gower barn.
Our aim with the project was to utilise as many natural, sympathetic materials that work well with the natural structure, which was predominantly made up of Gower stone. The brief saw us renew the roof structure and it’s roof coverings. Whilst hacking off, re-pointing and re-rendering the walls internally and externally. The envelope of the barn was then complimented by the installation of a locally sourced, waney edged oak cladding.
Sustainably made and locally sourced windows and doors were installed and the interiors included a new staircase and lime rendered walls all coated in a mineral breathable paint.
