The design of this substantial family home showcases a masterful marriage of period and contemporary architecture. Over time the house has been renovated to create an open and light-filled space to accommodate busy family life.

The house occupies a privileged position alongside one of the area’s most historical and established gardens. The most recent series of works saw us, the clients and their design team, work on a contemporary addition to their home, whilst executing other internal reconfigurations and renovations.

Acting as a juxtaposition to the main dwelling is the heavily glazed extension, finished with a golden cedar clad. Light pours in through a huge window with French doors, where further light is welcomed through a glass link joining this space to the kitchen and the remainder of the home.

The works carried out through this wonderful home was complimented and further enhanced by an extensive joinery package, including a handmade kitchen, utility space, drinks cabinetry, a lifestyle storage space, a new staircase and other bespoke storage solutions.
